Screening: And Along Come Tourists - Goethe-Institut

A screening from our friends at the Goethe-Institut.

Our film screenings offer any film lover and person interested in German culture the possibility to watch contemporary German movies.

The movies are shown in original language with English subtitles and there will be an introduction.

Our Democracy Film Series continues with “And Along Come Tourists” - a documentary about the events surrounding the 1989 Monday demonstrations in Leipzig, the centerpiece of the citizens' movement that led to the fall of the Wall. The film includes interviews with demonstrators, members of the citizens’ rights movement, officials and bystanders in East Germany’s peaceful revolution.
