Join us for Vladimir Mayakovsky: Movie Screening and Reading

Hosted by poet Jack Hirschman, Readers Cafe & Bookstore will screen the movie "The Young Woman and the Hooligan!" starring Vladimir Mayakovsky, followed by a reading of Mayakovsky's 1917 poem Revolution by its translators, Rebecca Bella and Hirschman.
Mayakovsky was the first street poet of the 20th century and the voice of the Russian Revolution.
This event is part of the Thursdays At Readers series, featuring specially priced drinks and snacks, literary themed events, such as movies, poetry readings and more!
